The 2015 St. Augustine Writers Conference will be held in a beautiful, multi-story home just steps from the Atlantic Ocean. With 360 degree views of the ocean and river, it is a place that inspires. Vilano Beach, the conference locale, is a five minute drive from St. Augustine’s Historic District. We are please to announce that the Ocean Beach Sands Inn is the official lodge of the St. Augustine Writers Conference. Conference rates apply to participants, family, and friends. Upon acceptance into the conference, participants will receive instructions for securing the special rate.

Participants can also choose to stay at other Vilano Beach lodges, private rentals, or in town. Typically, Vilano Beach lodging is more affordable and the conference rate offered by Ocean Sands Beach Inn will be hard to top. For a list of city-wide lodging options, click here. There is abundant on-sight conference parking. Other than for the Ocean Sands Beach Inn, hich is adjacent to the conference site, the other listed inns are located at Vilano Town Center. Additionally, there are beach houses and condos for rent–an economical choice if several people rent together. Vilano Town Center is within a very short walking distance to the ocean, the river, a fishing pier, a Publix grocery store, good restaurants (Italian, Chinese, Mexican, seafood, and more), shopping, and drinking establishments. Many of the inns are oceanfront and/or have pools.
